Wildlife Extravaganza in Smithville
Saturday, April 8, 2006

Wildlife Rescue President, Preston Doughty, and Wildlife Rescue Raptor Rehabber, Sallie Delahoussaye, setup and manned a booth at the Smithville Wildlife Extravaganza on Saturday, April 8, 2006. In the photo on the right, you can see Sallie nose to nose with Crosby. Crosby is a Screech Owl that has been in Sallie’s care for years. He is not a releasable animal. So, Crosby makes his home with Sallie and makes regular appearances at educational events like these to help people learn more about Screech Owls and what they need to survive in the wild.
