Austin Wildlife Rescue looks forward to a brighter 2026, and we are grateful for your help in caring
for over 10,000 animals this year — the most in our 48 year history. 

In our ongoing commitment to rescue, rehabilitate, and release native Texas wildlife, Austin Wildlife Rescue has taken in more animals this year than ever before in our history.  

Because most animals in our care are rescued by Austinites, we have opened our new Intake Center specifically to offer greater access by our community with a central, easy to find location, in East Austin at 13th Street and IH-35. 

How central? We can see the Texas Capitol!
