Austin Wildlife Rescue would like to announce our first ever Student Wildlife Art contest! Submit and official rules

Created to encourage discovery and appreciation of our native fauna, the wildlife art contest is open to all K-12 students of Central Texas independent school districts. Because no wildlife artist works without a reference photo or photos, students are required to use a photo they took or pick one that Austin Wildlife Rescue has on its Instagram to inform and inspire their artwork.

Winners will be announced on August 22nd at our Virtual Caring of Critters Brunch. Winning entries will be printed on AWR’s greeting card fundraiser, and winners will receive a $25 Jerry’s Artarama giftcard, an art book specifically picked based on their grade level and choice of medium, 10 greeting cards with their artwork, and a winning certificate.

If you have any questions, please email outreach@austinwildliferescue.org.
